Two of Dubai’s Largest Taxi Brands Join Hands to Create UAE’s Biggest Taxi Fleet: Dubai always wows when it comes to innovation, and the city has taken a historic leap in urban mobility. Dubai Taxi Company and Kabi by Al Ghurair, two of the UAE’s largest taxi brands, have joined forces with Zed, the UAE’s homegrown ride-hailing app, to create the nation’s largest and most advanced taxi fleet, revolutionizing ride-hailing for residents and visitors.

The strategic alliance was formalized through an agreement signed by Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, and Badr Al Ghurair, CEO of Kabi, Al Ghurair Mobility, marking a milestone in Dubai’s journey toward smarter, more efficient, and customer-centric transport solutions.
By combining DTC’s 6,200 taxis with Kabi’s 3,680 vehicles, the new fleet will be fully integrated into Bolt and Zed e-hailing platforms. As a result, customers can expect unmatched availability, shorter waiting times, and enhanced service efficiency, while newly added vehicles will automatically join the platform to meet growing demand.

This collaboration brings together two of Dubai’s largest mobility leaders, supporting the government’s goal to convert 80% of taxi trips to e-hailing, aligned with the RTA’s vision for smart, sustainable mobility.
Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi stated, “By joining forces, we are creating the UAE’s largest taxi brand, expanding access, and embedding taxis more deeply into the digital ride-hailing ecosystem. This partnership reinforces Dubai’s commitment to innovation and improving customer experience.”

Badr Al Ghurair added, “This collaboration sets new benchmarks in efficiency, service quality, and sustainability. Together, Kabi and DTC are proud to redefine the ride-hailing landscape and strengthen Dubai’s leadership in smart mobility.”
With this alliance, Dubai cements its position as a global pioneer in urban transport, delivering a faster, smoother, and more sustainable travel experience for everyone.
