New Balance Launched the 442 v3, Blending Iconic Football Heritage with Modern Innovation: The 442 v3 debuted in Japan on December 12, 2025, launching in a limited-edition sea salt colorway with pearlized finishes and gold detailing. Subsequently, New Balance confirmed a global release scheduled for early 2026. Additional colorways, including Core Black and White, MP1 Black and Gold, and Triple White, were also slated for release in early 2026.

New Balance announced the launch of the 442 v3, a timeless football boot that successfully blended classic craftsmanship with cutting-edge innovation. Designed for today’s fast-evolving game, the 442 v3 fused iconic design elements from New Balance’s rich football heritage with refined cues from its lifestyle silhouettes. As a result, the brand delivered a performance-driven football boot that honored tradition while embracing modern technology.

Moreover, New Balance designed the 442 v3 specifically for football connoisseurs who valued both heritage and precision. By integrating signature details from historic New Balance football boots with elegant lifestyle-inspired aesthetics, the 442 v3 elevated timeless style through a distinctly modern expression.

Built for players who demanded classic looks without compromising elite-level performance, the 442 v3 emphasized quality, control, and responsiveness. The boot featured TrueTouch Tech, a premium lightweight PU microfiber with debossed quilting inspired by New Balance football and lifestyle design cues.
