India Dominates APAC Effie Awards 2025 with 33 Wins, Historic First for Sri Lanka: Marketers from across the Asia-Pacific gathered in Singapore to celebrate marketing excellence as the APAC Effie Awards 2025 unveiled 81 winning campaigns. The event showcased the best in strategic creativity and results-driven marketing across the region. The full list of winners can be accessed here.

Of the 123 finalists, 81 campaigns clinched recognition with a metal. The jury awarded 12 Golds, 21 Silvers, and 48 Bronzes across 12 territories. As a result, the awards highlighted the diversity and innovation thriving in the APAC marketing industry.
India dominated the rankings with 33 awards. Australia followed with 13. Meanwhile, New Zealand and Singapore tied with 6 metals each. This strong showing reinforced India’s leadership in marketing effectiveness across the region.
Ogilvy Mumbai Leads Again
Ogilvy Mumbai claimed Agency of the Year for the third time. Their work on The Impossible Choice and From Handwash Rebels to Handwash Legends secured 3 Golds, 3 Silvers, and 3 Bronzes. This victory further cemented Ogilvy’s reputation as a powerhouse in advertising.
The Womb Triumphs as Independent Agency of the Year
For the second year in a row, The Womb, an India-based agency, won Independent Agency of the Year. Their impressive haul of 3 Silvers and 5 Bronzes also earned them third place in the Agency of the Year ranking.
St. Jude Childcare Centres Makes History
St. Jude Childcare Centres achieved a rare double by winning Brand of the Year and Marketer of the Year. Their emotional campaign The Impossible Choice focused on the heart-wrenching caregiver’s dilemma of choosing which child can stay in limited housing for cancer treatment. This narrative captured both jury and audience attention, creating a lasting impact.
Ogilvy Network Dominates the Region
The final accolade, Agency Network of the Year, went to Ogilvy for the seventh consecutive year. Their work across six territories brought in 24 Effies, including 7 Golds, 5 Silvers, and 12 Bronzes. This achievement reaffirmed their consistent dominance in the APAC creative landscape.
Historic First for Sri Lanka
This year also marked the first win for a Sri Lankan campaign in APAC Effie history. Relive the Epic of The Ramayana Trail by Sri Lankan Airlines and Phoenix Ogilvy O&M received recognition, putting Sri Lanka firmly on the awards map.
