Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday Drone Show in South Korea Excites Fans Ahead of Release: A special Marvel-themed drone show at Ttukseom Hangang Park in Seoul, South Korea, has given fans a preview of the excitement surrounding Avengers: Doomsday, scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 18, 2026.
The 15-minute spectacle, described as Marvel’s final Han River drone show of the year, featured illuminated aerial sequences depicting popular Marvel characters and transformations. The presentation included Thor transforming into Captain America while wielding Mjolnir, alongside appearances by Vision and Scarlet Witch.
The drone display also featured a transition from Thanos, portrayed by Josh Brolin, to Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. The sequences were accompanied by music, while themed photo zones offered visitors opportunities to capture the Marvel-inspired event.
The show drew attention online, with fans sharing videos and reactions to the appearance of familiar characters. One of the highlights was the image of Steve Rogers wielding Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, a moment that has remained popular among Marvel audiences.
Doctor Doom Posters Fuel Speculation About Scarlet Witch
New promotional posters featuring Doctor Doom alongside three Latverian Witches have also generated discussion among fans. A hand gesture reportedly noticed in material connected to Elizabeth Olsen’s stunt double has prompted speculation about a possible return of Wanda Maximoff, better known as Scarlet Witch.
However, Marvel has not officially confirmed Wanda’s involvement in the film. Her potential appearance remains a subject of fan discussion until the studio releases further details.
A Major Marvel Release in December
The film has also attracted attention through its ensemble cast and promotional campaign. Robert Downey Jr. returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom, while Pedro Pascal joins the cast alongside Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Vanessa Kirby, Channing Tatum, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh and James Marsden.
