Opus Agency Announces New APAC Leadership Appointments for ASEAN and ANZ: Global event marketing agency Opus Agency has strengthened its Asia-Pacific leadership structure with the appointment of Erica Seo as Senior Vice President, ASEAN, while Charles Turner serves as Senior Vice President, ANZ. Both executives report directly to Opus Agency President Dena Lowery.
The appointments come as Opus Agency expands its work with global and regional brands across the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on growing event marketing programs across Southeast Asia and Australia and New Zealand.
Erica Seo to Lead ASEAN Growth
Based in Singapore, Seo will lead client growth, commercial performance and the agency’s Singapore-based teams as Senior Vice President, ASEAN.
Her responsibilities include helping global brands extend their event portfolios across Southeast Asia while supporting regional brands in developing event marketing programs both within their home markets and internationally.
Seo joins Opus Agency from Spalba, where she served as Business Head, APAC. Previously, she held senior roles at George P. Johnson, where she led business strategy across APAC and served as Managing Director of GPJ Korea. Earlier in her career, she led agency operations at QX, Quintessentially’s brand experience agency.
“What drew me here is the work already happening and the ambition to take it further,” Seo said, according to Opus Agency. She highlighted the pace of business across the region and said her focus will be on bringing her relationships and expertise to the agency while expanding its client work across Southeast Asia.
Charles Turner Leads ANZ
Charles Turner, based in Sydney, leads the other half of Opus Agency’s APAC business as Senior Vice President, ANZ.
Turner joined The Company We Keep as Managing Director in 2023 and moved into Opus Agency’s regional leadership following the company’s acquisition of the agency in February 2025. Before that, he spent nearly 12 years with George P. Johnson Australia and New Zealand, ultimately becoming Head of Integrated Production.
His team’s recent work includes Salesforce’s Sydney activation, Meant to Be Agentforce, which received the Best Use of AI award at the 2026 Ex Awards, as well as the St Kilda Festival in Melbourne.
Turner said the agency’s existing APAC relationships provide a strong foundation and that he and Seo will focus on expanding those relationships across additional programs and markets.
Growing APAC Event Marketing
Opus Agency already has an established presence across the region. Its work includes AWS Summit ASEAN, delivered across Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta for more than 16,000 attendees. The agency has also partnered with Salesforce for more than two decades, including World Tour programs in Sydney, Tokyo, London, Paris and other markets. Regional client relationships also include UBS and Red Hat.
Lowery said clients’ event portfolios are becoming increasingly connected and global, with growing investment moving into APAC. She pointed to cities including Singapore, Jakarta and Sydney as important markets where brands are seeking connected teams with both global capabilities and local market knowledge.
Building a Stronger Regional Structure
The new leadership structure gives Opus Agency dedicated senior leadership for ASEAN and ANZ, while connecting both regions directly to the agency’s global network.
Opus Agency describes itself as a global event marketing partner combining strategy, creativity and execution to create human-centric experiences for brands including Microsoft, Salesforce and Dell. The agency operates as part of The Opus Group, with hubs across the United States and in London, Sydney and Singapore.
The appointments signal Opus Agency’s continued investment in APAC as brands increasingly develop regional and global event programs across multiple markets.
