Walmart and Sam’s Club Plus Launch $120 Annual Membership Bundle: Walmart and Sam’s Club have launched a new $120 annual membership bundle combining Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus, offering customers access to benefits from both programs at a discounted price.
Announced on October 20, 2026, the offer is designed to help households save money on everyday essentials, bulk shopping, fuel and entertainment. According to Walmart, the combined membership costs nearly $100 less annually than purchasing the two memberships separately.
One Membership, More Savings
For $120 a year, equivalent to $10 per month, eligible members can access benefits across Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus, including:
- Shopping savings: Access to member-only prices on eligible products, including Sam’s Club’s Member’s Mark range.
- Delivery benefits: Free delivery on qualifying Walmart and Sam’s Club orders, subject to applicable minimums and terms.
- Streaming entertainment: A choice of Peacock Premium or Paramount+ Essential, with advertising, subject to membership terms.
- Fuel discounts: Savings of up to 10 cents per gallon at participating fuel stations.
- Cash rewards: Earn 2% Sam’s Cash on eligible purchases, subject to program limits and conditions.
The package combines Walmart’s convenient online and everyday shopping services with Sam’s Club’s warehouse shopping and membership rewards.
Upgrade Options for Existing Members
Walmart and Sam’s Club are also offering upgrade options for customers who already subscribe to one of the services.
Existing annual Walmart+ members can move to the combined package for an additional $22 per year. Sam’s Club members can upgrade to Sam’s Club Plus for an additional $60 annually and receive Walmart+ as part of the offer.
Current Sam’s Club Plus members can activate Walmart+ at no additional cost. Customers who already hold both memberships can link their accounts, with eligible customers receiving a prorated refund for Walmart+.
Customers can join, upgrade or link their accounts through the Walmart and Sam’s Club apps or their respective websites.
Walmart and Sam’s Club Expand Their Value Proposition
The launch reflects the retailers’ efforts to give customers more value through subscription-based shopping, delivery services and exclusive benefits.
Walmart+ focuses on convenience, including delivery and other shopping-related perks, while Sam’s Club Plus provides warehouse-club benefits and rewards on eligible purchases. Bringing the two together gives members access to a wider range of services through a single combined annual offer.
Walmart President and CEO John Furner said the company wants customers to expect more from their memberships while spending less.
Employee Benefits Also Expanded
Walmart and Sam’s Club also announced that US field associates at both businesses will receive Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus as part of their employee benefits.
The move comes as retailers compete to attract price-conscious shoppers and build customer loyalty through membership programs. With the holiday shopping season approaching, the combined offer gives households another option for managing shopping, delivery and entertainment expenses.
Walmart said the membership launch is not expected to have a material impact on its previously announced fiscal third-quarter or full-year financial guidance.
The $120 bundle positions Walmart and Sam’s Club Plus as complementary services, bringing together everyday shopping convenience and warehouse-club savings in one annual membership.
